Online Resources Part II

Today I'll be short and to the point (mostly).

Happy practicing!

This has been a hectic couple of weeks. So in an endeavor to stay in the groove of producing a new Tuba Tuesday edition every two weeks I'm sending out a couple more online resources that one of our readers (and current WTAMU junior), Alex Rivera reminded me of.
I honestly can't understand how I forgot these two resources, but stranger things have happened.
International  Tuba-Euphonium Association
  • For a small fee (as low as $31 a year for students) you gain access to resources such as the ITEA Journal, pedagogy, and community.
Tuba People TV
  • This is a great YouTube channel! Many (if not all) of the people interviewed there studied at some point with Arnold Jacobs.
I hope you all take the time to check them out.
Thank you for reading!

Online Resources

Today we'll discuss websites, YouTube  channels, and other online resources for euphonium and tuba.
Happy practicing!
There are lots of great tools online for aspiring tuba-euph players. Some of my favorites are:
BrassExcerpts.com
  • Website with links to video, audio, and digital scores for study.
Chris Olka on YouTube
  • Informative videos by one on the great tubists of our time.
Euphonium.com
  • All the euphonium rep you'll need in one place.
Horn Hangouts
  • A vlog by Sarah Willis (horn, Berlin Phil) that all brass players need to watch.
Tubenet Forums
  • Have tuba-euph related questoins? Look no further. The forums are the most extensive compilation of tuba-euph knowledge on the web.
Podcasts
The Brass Junkies
  • A Podcast by Andrew Hitz an Lance Laduke. Informative and Funny!
The Other Side of the Bell
  • Trumpet podcast, but excellent none the less.
I'm sure I missed some great resources, if you know of something, let me know.
Thank you for subscribing!

Today, I'm posting a list (in no particular order) of the artists who I've been listening to most recently. There are many great artists who I didn't include on the list. This is by no means definitive. Included are links to each player's website (if there is one) and their channels on Spotify and/or YouTube. Happy listening!
